I’ve always been drawn to writing, whether it’s journaling, blogging, or just jotting thoughts down. At 59, I find that putting things into words helps me focus, especially around the big stuff: relationships, career shifts, and just figuring out how I want life to look going forward.
I’ll be honest, I’m not always consistent with it. Some weeks I write a lot, other times I drop it completely. But when I stick with it, I notice I’m calmer, more grounded, and able to see patterns I’d otherwise miss.
Do you write, journal, or blog at all? If so, what do you get out of it—and if not, what do you use instead to process everything that comes with midlife?
